Responsibilities:

• Managing the R&D team – 8 FTE.
• Coordinate daily activities within the team, as well as between departments.
• Comprehensive oversight of the company’s new product development process.
• Developing and implementing a strategy that takes into account customer needs and market trends.
• Developing cooperation with suppliers in terms of acquisition of innovative components.
• Maintain close cooperation with departments including sales, production technology, quality and marketing to ensure the success of projects.
• Work closely with the company’s subsidiaries in France and Germany.
• Active participation in audits and sales meetings (presentation of product portfolio).
• Participation in optimization processes, responsibility for standardization of processes in the R&D area.

Our requirements:

• Min. 2 years of experience in a managerial position in the R&D area in the food industry.
• Experience in managing a team.
• University degree in the field of food technology or related.
• Experience in managing R&D projects.
• Creative problem-solving skills, proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Knowledge of food law and food production processes.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with MS Office environment, knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
